FAQ

What counts as a “bundle”?

A bundle is one order in which TagAlong waives the shipping line on an addon product. If a customer orders an addon by itself, or no addon at all, that order doesn't count. The counter resets at the start of each calendar month.

What happens when I hit the free limit?

The discount keeps firing for a 7-day grace period so you have time to decide whether to upgrade. If you don't upgrade before the grace window ends, TagAlong pauses the bundle-shipping discount until you subscribe or the next month starts. Customers see their normal shipping rates during the pause — nothing breaks at checkout.

Is there a free trial of the paid plan?

The free plan itself is your trial — you can run up to 10live bundles per month for as long as you like without entering payment info. When you're ready for unlimited, upgrade from inside the app dashboard.

How is it billed?

TagAlong uses Shopify's built-in billing API, so the $9/month charge appears on the same invoice as your Shopify subscription. No separate credit card or sign-up. Cancel anytime from the dashboard.

What if I uninstall?

Uninstall TagAlong anytime from Shopify admin → Apps. The bundle-shipping discount stops applying at checkout immediately and your subscription auto-cancels. Your discount and product tags stay in place, so reinstalling later picks up where you left off.

Why does checkout still show “arriving in 2 shipments”?

Shopify groups items by shipping profile for display. TagAlong waives the shipping COST for addon products, but Shopify still displays them as a separate fulfillment line because they live in a different shipping profile. The customer pays one shipping charge — the display grouping is a Shopify presentation choice we can't change from inside the app.
